CCBC to host 50th Anniversary Fundraising Gala April 26
Dancing and dining will support student scholarships and programs
Baltimore County, Md. – Can you Shimmy? Can you Bop? How about the Twist, Madison, Running Man or Moonwalk? Maybe the Two-Step is more your style. Don’t fret: any style of dance that you can handle, from the past 50 years that is, CCBC’s got you covered. You’ll be “Dancing with the Stars” at the college’s 50th Anniversary Fundraising Gala.
Scheduled for 7 p.m.-1 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Martin’s Valley Mansion in Cockeysville, Md., the black tie-optional event will benefit CCBC student scholarships and programs. In celebration of 50 illustrious years of educating Baltimore County communities and the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area, CCBC will host an event that will allow you to get your groove on to music spanning the past 50 years, performed by one of the area’s most popular and exciting bands, The Klassix. Tickets are priced at $150 per person.
Begin your evening with a walk down Memory Lane, amidst pictures from years past, while feasting on lavish hors d'oeuvres. Check out the bountiful assortment of silent auction items, and place your bids. Reconnect with old friends, and make new ones as you dine on a sumptuous four-course meal, punctuated by performances from some of CCBC’s best and finest. Then, kick up your heels to tunes old and new as you celebrate CCBC’s amazing 50-year journey.
