CCBC plans open house events for the School of Applied and Information Technology
Training and career opportunities in technology emphasized

Baltimore County, Md. – The Community College of Baltimore County’s School of Applied and Information Technology will host open house events at its Catonsville and Essex campuses to introduce undecided students, parents and other community members to the wide variety of training and career opportunities available to graduates of its vast array of technology-based programs.

The events will be held 1-3 p.m. Thursday, April 10 in K-100 at CCBC Catonsville and 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 in B-213, B-214 and B-215 at CCBC Essex. Those attending will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from SAIT, discuss programs and gather related materials.

Programs offered by SAIT include: Fine Arts, Computer Graphics and Visual Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Technology, Automotive Technology, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Health Informatics and Information Technology, Office Administration, Automotive Collision Repair, Manufacturing, Occupational Safety and Health Technology, Surveying, Diesel and Equipment Maintenance Technology, Interior Design, Web Technology, Multimedia Technology, Simulation and Digital Entertainment, and Instructional Multimedia.

Certificates and degrees in these programs frequently lead directly to jobs and careers. Careers in these fields can result in salaries ranging from $40,000 to $100,000 annually.
