Maryland First Lady Katie O’Malley to attend
Seventh Annual CCBC Women’s Expo this weekend
It’s not just for women!

Baltimore County, Md. – CCBC Catonsville’s chapter of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges is pulling out all the stops for its Seventh Annual CCBC Women’s Expo. Bigger and better than ever, the two-day event will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 8 and 9 on the Catonsville campus. Maryland's First Lady Katie O'Malley will be on hand 2 p.m. Saturday to congratulate and lend her support to this year's "Queen for a Day."

Featuring more than 200 woman-owned and/or operated businesses, the event has expanded, adding two tents and additional offerings in the CCBC Café. The expo’s $6 daily admission fee will be waived for anyone presenting identification from a college, university and/or active military duty. Also, the event’s Web site, www.womesexpomd.com, offers a coupon allowing $1 off the admission fee.

Sponsored by Fox Chevrolet, Comcast, St. Agnes Hospital, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Bizness Concepts, On Purpose Networking for Women, Kangen Water and Coffee News, this year’s spectacular array of speakers, demonstrations, seminars, workshops and vendors will focus on entrepreneurship, health, networking, business and a variety of motivational topics.

This award-winning, fun-filled and information-packed event has enabled CCBC Catonsville’s AAWCC to contribute more than $65,000 to workshops, scholarships and programs for CCBC students and staff over the past five years. The CCBC Women’s Expo is an event that offers something for everyone. It’s not just for women.
