Children’s Learning Center at CCBC Dundalk now accepting registrations for preschool and school-age summer and fall programs
Baltimore County, Md. – The Children’s Learning Center at the Community College of Baltimore County, Dundalk is now registering children for its preschool and school-age summer programs. The hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
The preschool age summer program will be accepting children in early June. ”Our preschoolers will enjoy water play, outdoor play, weekly learning themes and all food,” notes Pat Shafer, director of the Children’s Learning Center on the Dundalk campus.
The school-age program (for children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade) runs Monday, June 16 through Friday, Aug. 22. Parents may opt for two-, three- or five-day programs that best fit their needs.
According to Shafer, “We offer a host of programs and activities for the school-age children ranging from dramatic play, arts and crafts to computers and cooking. Each week we have a theme which we tie to a special visitor or a field trip.”
The Children’s Learning Centers at CCBC are open to all children -- not just those affiliated with CCBC. The Dundalk CLC has an experienced staff with eight to 22 years of service.
The “Before and After School” program returns Monday, Aug. 25 when CCBC reopens for fall classes.
To register children for either program, arrange for a personal tour or request an enrollment packet, call the CLC at 410-285-9890.
