CCBC partners with Baltimore County Health Department
to offer free, seven-week smoking cessation programs

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (January 29, 2013) - The CCBC Wellness Center is again partnering with the Baltimore County Department of Health, Bureau of Behavioral Health, to offer free, seven week smoking cessation programs on all CCBC campuses. The programs are available to faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members who are 18 years and older. They are designed to: help participants quit using tobacco products; encourage participants to take the first step toward a healthier life style; and promote healthier living among the college community. If necessary, participants will be given free aids, (i.e.; the nicotine patch or gum, Chantix and stress relievers, such as CDs and stress balls, to assist them in quitting their nicotine habit.

The program must have a minimum of six participants and a maximum of 12 for the program to run.

SPRING 2013 CCBC Smoking Cessation Program Schedule:

CATONSVILLE CAMPUS --800 South Rolling Road, Baltimore, MD 21228
DATE: 7 consecutive Mondays starting 2/11 – 3/25 and one Wed. 3/6
TIME: 4 - 5:15 p.m.
LOCATION: Catonsville campus Wellness Center located on the main level of the gymnasium (Building L)
To register, complete the form and return it to Karen Renaud in L203, CCBC Catonsville, no later than Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013.

DUNDALK CAMPUS -- 7200 Sollers Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21222
DATE: 7 consecutive Wed. starting 2/6 – 3/20 and one Fri. 3/1
TIME: 4 - 5:15 p.m.
LOCATION: H-205B
To register, fill out the registration form and return it to Karen Renaud in L203, CCBC Catonsville, no later than Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

ESSEX CAMPUS -- 7201 Rossville Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21237
DATE: 7 consecutive Tuesdays starting 2/12 – 3/26 and one Thur. 3/7
TIME: 4 - 5:15 p.m.
LOCATION: D-106 which is on the main level of the gymnasium
To register, complete the form and return it to Karen Renaud in L203, CCBC Catonsville, no later than Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013.
