Shares History Through Photos and Lecture
Baltimore County, Md. – The Community College of Baltimore County,
Dundalk (CCBC Dundalk) presents Louis Diggs, author of the book
From the Meadows to the Point on Monday, Nov. 17 from 12:20 until
1:20 p.m. in the Student Lounge.
Diggs, a Catonsville resident and regular columnist for The
Catonsville Times, will present the history of Turners Station
through photos and words. Courtney Speed, president of the Turners
Station Heritage Foundation, will introduce Diggs.
Diggs is the author of several books that chronicle the history of
African Americans in Baltimore County. The Arts and Sciences
program and the Dundalk campus Co-Curricular Board are sponsoring
the event.
