Registration open for CCBC smoking cessation programs
The CCBC Wellness Center is partnering with the Baltimore County Department of Health, Bureau of Behavioral Health to offer a free, 7-week smoking cessation Program. This program is open to faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members who are 18 years and older.
The program is designed to help participants quit using tobacco products; encourage participants to take the first step toward a healthier life style; and promote healthier living among the college community.
If necessary, participants will be given free aids, (e.g., nicotine patch or gum, Chantix® and stress relievers such as CDs and stress balls) to assist them in quitting their nicotine habit.
The program must have a minimum of six (6) participants and a maximum of 12 for the program to run. Register now for the program on your campus.
Date: 7 consecutive Mondays starting 9/24 – 11/5 and Wednesday 10/17
Time: 4 - 5:15 pm
Location: Catonsville campus Wellness Center located on the main level of the gymnasium
Date: 7 consecutive Tuesdays starting 9/25 – 11/6 and Thursday 10/18
Time: 4:15-5:30 pm
Location: D106 which is on the main level of the gymnasium
Date: 7 consecutive Wednesdays starting 10/3 – 11/14 and Friday 10/26
To register: Registration forms are available at the Student Life Office on each campus. Complete the form and send it back in the inter-college mail to Karen Renaud, CCBC Wellness Events Coordinator, Catonsville campus (L203) no later than Thursday 9/20/ 2012.
