Q: There are courses on the My WebCT/BB page that are not online courses. Can I have them deleted?

A: In the current version of WebCT/Blackboard, every CCBC credit class for which you register will have a section created automatically, even if the instructor does not use it. Inactive sections cannot be deleted from your account; the instructor may decide later to supplement his/her classroom section with online materials. However, you have the ability to hide the inactive sections. Hiding a course does not affect your enrollment, access or activity in the course.

On the My WebCT/BB page, click on the "pencil" icon in the upper right corner of the Course List. When Edit Course List appears, check the box next to each course that you want to hide, then click the Hide Link button to the right. When you've made your selections, click the Hide button below the list of courses.

To restore a hidden course, simply click the pencil icon again. Check the course you wish to show, then click the Show Link button. When you're finished, click the Show button below the course list.

You can also rearrange the order in which courses appear on your My WebCT/BB page. Use the controls in the Move column of the Edit Course List page to change the order in which the courses appear.
