Red & Black is the student newspaper for the Catonsville campus. The newspaper, which started in 1962, has a long tradition on the Catonsville campus of providing students with dynamic opportunities in the fields of journalism, photojournalism, desktop publishing, management, writing, and advertising. The paper is published on a monthly basis and is produced by students under the guidance of experienced faculty members.
Red & Black is currently administered through the Office of Student Life and in close collaboration with the English, Mass Communications, and Computer Graphics/Visual Communications (CGVC) Departments. The Faculty Advisors for Red & Black are Annie Nguyen, Assistant Professor of English and Debby Ciccarelli, Assistant Professor of Computer Graphics and Visual Communication.
