How to start

  • If you are a returning student, ready to register, please read the registration information on this page.
  • If you are a returning student, please verify your name, address and program of study when you enroll. Update your official college records by completing a Change of student Information form and submitting it with the required documents to the Enrollment Services Center.
  • If you have applied to CCBC, but have never registered for classes, your next steps are assessment and placement.
  • If you have never attended CCBC, submit an application.

When to register
Begin to register for Summer 2014 classes March 24. Meet with an advisor before registering for classes.

Summer registration begins March 24 and continues through:

May 30 First 6-week and 10-week classes
June 13 First 5-week and 7-week classes
July 11 Second 5-week classes
July 18 Second 6-week classes
(If you receive a financial aid award, you are required to register for all Summer 2014 classes by June 13.)

Payment dates and how to make a payment

A $30.00 late registration fee is charged for initial registrations made on or after the first day of the semester or session.

Be sure that CCBC receives your payment on or before the payment due date. If it is not received on time your registration will be cancelled.
Your payment date is based on the date of your first registration for the semester. If you register near the end billing cycle, there may not be sufficient time for a bill to reach you through the mail. It is your responsibility to pay on time whether or not you receive a bill in the mail.

How to register .
Online 24/7

  • Log on to SIMON, your CCBC Online Information System. Retrieve your user name and password.
  • If you plan to Audit a credit class, click "Request to Audit Courses" and follow the instructions after you complete the registration process through SIMON.

On-campus registration

Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  

Late registration for open sections
You are permitted to register late for an open class without the Dean's or Designee's permission before the second class meeting. After the class has met twice, you are required to obtain the Dean's or Designee's permission (in consultation with the instructor).

Exceptions
Beginning the first day of the semester or session, the Dean's or Designee's permission is required after the first day of the semester or session for:

  • Courses that meet once a week only
  • Science courses with labs
  • Abbreviated sessions

The Dean's or Designee's permission is required for ALL Web courses on the first day of the semester or session. If you miss one class meeting, the late enrollment policy is in effect.
