Testing Center – Bldg K, Room 205

Hours Of Operation:

Students must see an advisor prior to taking placement tests; however appointments for placement tests are not necessary. Students will be seated as seats are made available.

Bring a current Photo Identification (Government or School Issued) to the Placement Testing Center. Questions about Placement Testing should be directed to the Counseling Center located in Building K, Room 200, or call 410-455-4382.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND HELPFUL TIPS FOR TAKING THE PLACEMENT TEST

• for best results, take the test at a time when you are rested and unhurried

• tests are not timed

• No children are allowed in the Testing Area.

SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR TAKING THE MATH PLACEMENT TEST

The “Math Skills Bank,” a computerized software package is available to help students prepare for the Math Placement Test. This resource is located in the Student Services Lab, Building K, Room 201 B. Call 410-455-4226 for hours of operation.

Note: Personal calculators are not allowed. One will be provided for various problems.
