P Building is home to the James A. Newpher library. Dr. Newpher was the beloved dean of Essex Community College from 1958-1967. The library was named in his honor by the alumni association in 1973. This is a place where students go to research materials, access the Internet and use private study rooms. The employee technology center is also located here.
