Student Employment Opportunities at CCBC
CCBC participates in the federal work-study program (FWS) and offers employment through the Institutional Work-Study Program. If you are interested in student employment, contact the Financial Aid office on the campus you plan to attend as soon as possible. Awards are made on a first-in and first-out basis until all funds are depleted. Notification of student employment awards begins in May for the upcoming academic year.
What to Expect
If you are eligible for student employment, you may work up to 15 hours per week during the school year, or in some cases, full-time during the summer and winter sessions. You cannot work more than the total dollar amount of aid that is awarded.
If you are awarded federal work study or institutional employment, you will need to:
- Check the CCBC Employment Bulletin Board in the Job Placement office to search a job
- Interview with the supervisor of that position.
- Complete all federal, state, and college employment forms.
