CCBC presents Cynthia Cooper, WorldCom whistle blower,
as its November Spotlight Speaker

Baltimore County, Md. – The Office of Student Life at the Community College of Baltimore County is pleased to present Cynthia Cooper, the auditor who exposed the largest corporate fraud in history, at 12:20 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5 in the J Building Lecture Hall (J-137) at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard. In 2002, Ms. Cooper and her team identified the corporate fraud at WorldCom — to date the largest corporate fraud in history. Cooper recounts the events that led to that discovery in her recent book, Extraordinary Circumstances (Feb. 2008 John Wiley & Sons).
Today, she speaks to students and professionals across the country about the lessons that she has learned and the importance of strong ethical leadership.
