CCBC presents Cynthia Cooper, WorldCom whistle blower,
as its November Spotlight Speaker

The Office of Student Life at the Community College of Baltimore County is pleased to present Cynthia Cooper, the auditor who exposed the largest corporate fraud in history, at 12:20 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 5 in the J Building Lecture Hall (J-137) at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard. This event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. For free tickets and information, call the CCBC Box Office at 410-780-6369.

Cynthia CooperIn 2002, Ms. Cooper and her team identified the corporate fraud at WorldCom — to date the largest corporate fraud in history. Cooper recounts the events that led to that discovery in her recent book, Extraordinary Circumstances (Feb. 2008 John Wiley & Sons).

Today, she speaks to students and professionals across the country about the lessons that she has learned and the importance of strong ethical leadership.
