CCBC implements new course to ease college transition
New course required for all first-time degree or certificate-seeking credit students.

In an effort to help students ease into college, CCBC is implementing a new course in the spring (ACDV 101) to aid students in connecting with the college. The course, which is a requirement for all first-time degree or certificate-seeking credit students, is designed to familiarize students with CCBC and assist them in developing the skills needed for a successful college experience.

Taken during their first semester, students will become familiar with college resources, learn about co-curricular activities and explore occupational choices in an effort to create their own “academic roadmap.”
