RESTRICTIONS ON ASSIGNMENT OF ADMINISTRATORS

TO OVERLOAD OR EXTRA SESSIONS

Overload during the Fall and Spring semester for professional staff must be beyond the 37.5 hour workweek and beyond the normal workday. Such overload must have the written approval of the immediate supervisor, to assure that it is in addition to regular responsibilities.

Summer and Winter Session teaching for added salary at the adjunct pay scale by professional staff is possible with the written approval of the appropriate President, after teaching faculty are given first choice. Such assignments will also be beyond the normal workweek and must have the written approval of the president. Such teaching will be approved only under exceptional circumstances, because of the intensity of the teaching demands.
