CCBC Graduation Information

CCBC 2010 commencement will take place on:

Date:  June 5, 2010

Time:  10:30 a.m.

Place:  CCBC Essex


Graduating students will receive information concerning commencement from their campus Records and Registration office during the spring semester.

Graduation application instructions

1. Students who plan to graduate are encouraged to submit the graduation application by these deadline dates to allow time for CCBC to complete a transcript evaluation and to notify you of any outstanding graduation requirements. Students who are missing degree or certificate requirements are encouraged to enroll in the next semester or session in order to graduate:

Print the Application for Graduation (If you will complete requirements for a degree and a certificate, submit a separate graduation application for each award.)

Print Programs of Study - Code Sheet

  • May 15 for 2009 August completion
  • August 15 for 2009 December completion
  • March 15 for 2010 May completion

Note: Submit the application on Friday before the due date if the deadline falls on the following weekend.

2. When you complete the Graduation Application, be sure to specify the catalog year that you followed to meet graduation requirements. Submit the completed application to the Records and Registration office on your campus by the due date above:

  • CCBC Catonsville, 800 South Rolling Road, Catonsville, MD 21228
  • CCBC Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21222
  • CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21237

3. The non-refundable graduation fee is $50 for an Associate Degree and/or $25 for a Certificate. If you will receive both a degree and a certificate, the fee is $75. The fee may be paid in the Bursar's office or mailed with your graduation application on your campus. Checks may be made payable to CCBC.

4. The Graduation Specialist in the Records and Registration office on your home campus can answer your questions:
CCBC Essex, Vanessa Pratnicki, 443-840-1848; CCBC Dundalk, Bonnie Kehler, 443-840-3106; or CCBC Catonsville, Diane Darchicourt, 443-840-4309.

Degree verification

The Community College of Baltimore County has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verification. National Student Clearinghouse may be contacted at: www.studentclearinghouse.org or www.degreeverify.com
