Continuing and Returning Students
Steps to Enroll:
1. Returning students. Returning students who have not attended CCBC for five or more years must reapply by resubmitting a CCBC application. 2. Meet with an advisor to discuss:
-
course selection
-
major/program of study decisions
-
prerequisites for courses
-
course transferability
-
developmental education courses
-
academic probation.
3. Contact an advisor at the following campus:
|
CCBC Catonsville 410-455-4382
|
CCBC Dundalk 410-285-9808
|
CCBC Essex 410-780-6973
|
4. Complete prerequisites prior to registration. For the CCBC student registering early for courses without having first completing the required prerequisite/co-requisite courses at the end of the current semester or session, you will need to follow these steps in order to complete the registration process:
-
Review your final grades for the semester or session.
-
Determine whether the necessary prerequisites/co-requisite courses for your early registration have been successfully completed.
-
If you were not successful and/or did not complete any of the prerequisites/co-requisite courses necessary for your class schedule or earned a D grade where a C is required, you will need to make adjustments to your early registration.
Because early registration assumes successful completion of required prerequisite courses, you must drop any pre-registered course for which you have not satisfactorily completed the prerequisite. You will not be allowed to continue in a course for which you are ineligible.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Course prerequisites are subject to change. Please check the online catalog or see your advisor for a current list of course prerequisites.
5. Take care of outstanding obligations. Prior to registration, students are responsible for clearing all outstanding obligations, (i.e.. library fines, student accounts).
6. Register for classes. See registration dates and times or register online.
