Message From the Dean of Learning and Student Development

Welcome to the Division of Learning and Student Development. The division is a unique integration of resources, which enable both students and faculty to achieve optimum learning. The division provides support both in and out of the classroom and is committed to the goals of LearningFirst. Simply put: Our primary goal is to help you learn and experience the campus more fully. The division offers a wide range of supports ranging from exceptional library resources, including expansive online capabilities, to a phenomenal Center for Learning and Teaching Excellence, where our faculty are exposed to the latest developments designed to enhance learning and teaching as well as, support retention.

The division also provides an innovative approach to improving student success through our Student Success Center(s) linked to campus wide resources. The centers include assistance in three key areas:  supplemental instruction, tutoring, and testing.
