Fundamentals of Instructing

AVMT 260

Provides an overview of human behavior and learning processes as they relate to flight training. Topics include effective communication, the teaching process, critique and evaluation, instructor professionalism and responsibilities, and the role of the flight instructor in promoting a positive safety culture. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

  • Prerequisite(s) : AVMT 236 and either AVMT 237 or AVMT 239 or approval of the Aviation Program Director
