Introduction to Information Assurance
CSIT 161
Discusses the principles of information security through the lens of Information Assurance management. Information Assurance is not just a technology concern but a management issue. Future organizations will expect the next generation of employees to be able to have the right combination of skills and experience to anticipate and troubleshoot multifaceted information security matters. This course will provide the students with the ability to identify threats and vulnerabilities in present systems as well as expand techniques to design and develop secure information systems as needed. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
