A compassionate and dedicated leader in the Catonsville community and consummate supporter of The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), the Jack Manley 500 Club initiative serves to honor the life and achievements of Jack Manley, alumni, retiree and scholarship donor for all of his contributions to CCBC, our athletics program, students, the community at large and the P.A.C.E. Program.
The goal of this initiative is to raise $375,000 in total to match a National Endowment for the Humanities grant (one of only six awarded nationally), $125,000 of which will fund athletic scholarships to support students in the 21 athletic programs at the three CCBC campuses. In achieving this goal, CCBC will name the CCBC Catonsville Gymnasium – The Jack Manley Wellness and Athletic Center in honor of Jack Manley for his contributions and:
• Restore the Hilton Mansion and house two new school programs.
• Fund athletic scholarships at the three CCBC campuses.
The NEH grant offers a 2-to 1 match for each dollar designated for the NEH Challenge, so every $2.00 dollar contribution is really worth $3.00.
