Tuition and fees vary, depending on the number of credit hours you take and whether you reside in Baltimore County, in another Maryland county or out of state. The course format can also affect cost, depending on your residency. The rates listed on this page are for credit courses only.
Typically, one course is three credit hours. You are considered a full-time student with a course load of 12 credits. To finish an associate degree in two years, you'll need to take 15 credits per semester.
County residents pay the same tuition rate for all course formats (online, in-person, hybrid, etc.).

Residency requirements
To qualify for the in-state, out-of-county tuition rates, a student must reside in Maryland for at least 90 days before enrolling in CCBC.

Residency requirements
To qualify for York County tuition rates, the student must reside in York County, Pennsylvania for at least 90 days before enrolling in CCBC.
Out-of-state and international residents pay $247 per credit hour for online classes.

To qualify for discounted online tuition rates, the student must reside outside of Maryland and be enrolled in classes that are remote synchronous (online using video software during scheduled days and times) asynchronous (no scheduled times) or a combination of the two (blended online), that does not require on-site activity. All other on-site and blended courses will be assessed at the standard out-of-state/international rate of $377 per credit hour.
International and out-of-state residents pay $377 per credit hour for on-site and hybrid classes.
