Sharpen your skills.

Improve your job prospects and get on track for continued learning with our Adult Basic Education (ABE) or high school diploma programs.

High School Diploma Programs

If you’re ready to earn your high school diploma, CCBC can help with our GED Skills classes and National External Diploma program (NEDP).

Ready to get started?

Follow these steps:

  1. Register for an in-person assessment session. This will help us get to know you and your academic needs better.
  2. Attend your assessment session, which will include an overview of the program and testing in math and reading.
  3. We will schedule a time for you to return for program registration, which will include advisement.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

The School of Continuing Education at CCBC offers ESOL classes to help adult non-native speakers learn English for daily life, school and work.

In addition to Adult ESOL, we offer family literacy for parents of school-aged children and intermediate ESOL for those beyond the basic level.

Student Support Services for Adult Education

Student Support Services include academic learning support, disability accommodations, referrals and career advising. Reasonable accommodations for a disability are available upon request.

Please contact Judy Walsh at 443.840.3428 or jwalsh@ccbcmd.edu to discuss availability of accommodations and testing procedures.
