3D Printing and Digital Fabrication
At our Fab Lab, you’ll learn how technologies are changing the way we make things!Additive technology usually refers to making something in layers from a 3D design. Our Fabrication Laboratory or Fab Lab (also known as Fab Lab Baltimore) is at the cutting edge in training students in this new technology. The applications of additive manufacturing technologies are nearly limitless, within the areas of building construction, medical applications, and consumer products. Using a laser cutter/engraver, vinyl cutter, CNC router and CNC plasma cutter in our Fab Lab, you will be able to gain leading-edge skills for this and other technologies offered in the spirit of the “Maker Movement.”
