Office of FinanceFinance is responsible for the accounting and reporting practices of the college and foundations.
A major component of responsibility is the budget administration that includes the development of an annual operating budget for both the college and foundation, as well as the development of a capital budget. Regulatory compliance with grants is provided by the department as well as treasury management over the college’s daily cash receipts and disbursements and investable balances.
CCBC has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for 16 consecutive years (FY 1998 - FY 2013). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and reflects the college's commitment to meet the highest principles of governmental accounting.
