Services and Accommodations for Students and Employees with Disabilities
A Guide for Faculty and Staff
OUR COMMITMENT
The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) is committed to full compliance with all laws regarding equal opportunity for students with disabilities. CCBC students, employees, the Office of Institutional Equity, and the disability support offices play an important role in ensuring that reasonable and appropriate accommodations are provided to students in a timely and effective manner.
FACULTY AND STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES
Each faculty member has a responsibility to accommodate the student. Faculty members for whose class or classes the accommodation is requested will receive an accommodation letter from the disability support office. A faculty member who has concerns or questions about an accommodation should contact the disability support office. The DSS Counselor, the faculty member, and the student will work together to resolve any issues.
