Want to learn English?

Attend an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) placement and registration session. Registration must be done in person; no online, phone, or mail-in registration.

  • All students must take a test. 
  • No family or friends are allowed inside the room (only registering students).
  • First-come, first-served basis (allow for up to 3 hours). Classes fill up quickly!

Cost

  • Classes are free (grant-funded).*
  • After enrolling, you must buy a textbook and workbook, available at any CCBC campus bookstore.

Eligibility

  • Students must be at least 18 years old.
  • Students cannot be in high school or planning to attend high school.
  • *Students with an F-1 or J-1 Visa cannot register for LABOR grant-funded classes.
