Celebrating Turner Station

The Gallery at CCBC Dundalk

The exhibit will be on display at The Gallery at CCBC Dundalk from Nov. 14, 2025 – Feb. 28, 2026.

  • Reception: Monday Jan. 26 5-7 p.m.
  • Curator and Historian: Michelle Wright
  • Special Keynote Speaker: Congressman Kweisi Mfume

The Gallery at CCBC Dundalk is honored to work with the Turner Station History Center to present an exhibition about the historical Black community in Baltimore County of Turner Station. The exhibit focuses on the history of Turner Station to create an essential understanding of local systemic forces that have shaped social, economic and political inequalities in the Baltimore metropolitan area. It also endeavors to recover often marginalized voices and experiences, and offer a fuller, more accurate account of American histories. We hope you can join us in celebrating the documentation of this vibrant community and the impact it has had on the history of the Baltimore area.

Remarks by special guests will begin at 6pm. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
