Family Literacy ESOL

English for parents

Our Family Literacy ESOL classes are designed to help parents (and primary caregivers) learn English language skills for life, work and to help their children in school. To register, you must have a child aged 0-16 living in your home who is attending a Baltimore County Public School. Students with F-1 or J-1 Visas are not eligible for these classes.

These classes are free thanks to support from the Maryland Department of Labor, but you will need to purchase a student textbook and workbook set. All students must have a smartphone.

Classes are held in-person, two days per week for three hours, for a total of 20 classes equaling 60 hours. Both morning and evening classes are available.
