Earn a CCBC Certificate and graduate from high school at the same time

D2C is designed for high school students who want to graduate with a high school diploma and a Certificate from CCBC.

D2C focuses on twenty-first century work skills that you can use right away, and lets you earn credits that are easily transferred to other colleges.

How it works

You can earn one of more than 30 credit and non-credit certificates ranging from Cybersecurity to Medical Coding at CCBC while you’re still in high school, using a variety of CCBC’s Early College Access options:

Concurrent enrollment

Enrolling in college courses during sophomore, junior or senior high school years. As a BCPS student, you can take advantage of CCBC’s Early College Access discounts: 4 courses with free tuition (fees apply) and as many as you want after that at half price.

Dual enrollment

Enrolling in courses approved for both the high school diploma and college program requirements.

Career and Technology Education Pathways (CTE)

Like dual enrollment in that students can earn college credit for courses they take within a specific high school career completer program. Availability of CTE programs varies by high school.
