Building bridges from High School to College
Maryland’s economic future depends on post-secondary preparation.Seventy-seven percent (77%) of projected job openings in Maryland require some type of college training or education. CCBC is committed to increasing access and helping high school students obtain credentials that accelerate their completion of a college degree or industry certification and thereby positioning them to better compete and succeed in both college and the job market.
Through CCBC’s Early College Access program, students can earn and transfer college credits while enrolled in high school at significant savings in tuition costs. However, many qualified and deserving students lack the financial resources to take advantage of this proven approach to college access and completion.
