Once you've applied to CCBC, your next step is to meet with one of our academic and career advisors. As part of your CCBC team, your advisor will help you make the most of your time at CCBC and find the right path for your goals.

You can talk with your advisor about:

  • College-wide and program specific requirements, including placement.
  • Possible majors and finding your pathway.
  • Setting up your class schedule and registering for classes.
  • Creating a graduation plan and identifying transfer opportunities.

With so many classes to choose from, selecting your schedule can seem overwhelming. That's why we recommend that students start with their required English and math courses within their first year. This will prep you for future coursework and provide you with essential academic and career skills! Talk to your advisor about enrolling in these gateway classes!
