You belong here.

All students deserve equal access to college education. That's why Student Accessibility Services (SAS) offers a wide range of resources and supports to students with documented physical, learning, medical, psychological and cognitive disabilities.

Here's how SAS can help:

The first step to accessing accessibility services.

Our SAS team can help students review medical documentation and determine which accommodations they need! We guide students through the necessary paperwork and processes, making sure that all students can access available services.

Creating a schedule that works for you.

Everyday we help students select courses, register for classes and even change programs. Our team ensures students feel confident making informed decisions that align their course choices with their personal, academic and career goals.

Finding the right accommodations.

Our team will works to identify and implement accommodations for placement testing and classroom activities. These accommodations can help reduce barriers to learning and allow CCBC students to fully engage in the college experience.

Approved accommodations will vary based on individual student factors, but may include:

  • Sign Language Interpreters
  • Books in Braille or electronic format
  • Accommodated testing
  • Furniture and equipment
  • Textbooks in alternate format
  • Assistive technology

Are you a current student?

If you're a current student with a documented disability and need accommodations for your learning, you must:

  • Step one: Complete the intake form. Use your CCBC credentials to access the link below and upload the necessary documentation. For information on guidelines for documentation, please review the SAS handbook

  • Step two: Meet with a SAS team member. A SAS team member will reach out to schedule an intake meeting to help you review your documents and discuss your options for accommodations.
  • Step three: Request accommodations. Once you have been approved for accommodations, you must complete the accommodation request form below. You will be prompted to log in with your CCBC credentials.

Note: you must complete a new accommodation request form each semester.
