CCBC offers programs in computer science, data science and information technology.

Computer Science

Computer science degree programs at CCBC provide opportunities for students who wish to continue their studies at a four-year institution in fields such as computer science, computer information sciences or information systems management.

Students who choose this curriculum and desire to transfer courses to a four-year institution should talk with the program coordinator and/or an academic advisor. Since four-year institutions vary in their requirements, it is strongly recommended that students also contact the appropriate department at the intended transfer institution. Program electives can then be selected to meet the requirements of the specific transfer institution.

Transfer agreements are currently in place with Towson University.

Data Science

A data science associate degree program equips you with the skills to enter this in-demand field. You'll learn programming languages like Python, data analysis techniques and how to create visualizations to communicate findings. CCBC's Data Science program can prepare you for entry-level data science jobs or for further study in a bachelor's program.

All of our faculty have worked in their respective fields and incorporate their professional experiences into teaching state-of-the-market concepts in a small classroom environment. Most courses are available days, nights, weekends and online. For those students that may be interested in pursuing a bachelor's degree after CCBC, we offer transfer agreements with a variety of four-year colleges and universities.
