Explore CCBC’s new 16-credit* Mobile Applications Developers Certificate option.

CCBC’s new Mobile Apps Development Certificate Option (if you have taken the required pre-requisites) is comprised of four, 4-credit courses:
  • CSIT 166 Introduction to Mobile Applications
  • CSIT 267 iOS Application Development
  • CSIT 268 Android Application Development
  • CSIT 269 Introduction to Secure Mobile Application Development

This new option is perfect for those with a degree in the Computer Technology who want to focus on applications development. It also meets the needs of students who have taken the prerequisite courses in high school and want to fast track to a career in Apps development. While currently this option is only offered on the Catonsville campus, this fall, CCBC Essex will be offering CSIT 166 (Introduction to Mobile Applications) for the first time.

*Prerequisites include: CSIT 111 Logic and OO Design (3 credits) and CSIT 210 Introduction to Programming (4 credits) as well as ENGL 051 or ESOL 042 and RDNG 051 or ESOL 044; or ACLT 052; and MATH 082. Previous programming experience will be considered.
