CCBC Welcomes Michael Crowder to the Board of Trustees

Crowder joins CCBC’s 15-member board


Baltimore County, MD (June 27, 2025) – Community College of Baltimore County President Sandra L. Kurtinitis is pleased to welcome Michael Crowder to the college’s Board of Trustees. The Board maintains general oversight of CCBC. Its responsibilities include adopting rules and regulations for college operations, approving the college budget, considering and approving CCBC’s academic programs, major purchases and long-range plans.

Appointed to the CCBC Board of Trustees by Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Michael Crowder is co-founder of Promised Season LLC, a consulting firm that provides leadership, strategic support and professional development. He has extensive experience in higher education partnerships, workforce development and community engagement. Crowder is a passionate advocate for educational equity and access with a track record of advising organizations on leadership, operations and strategic growth. He earned a Master of Science in nonprofit and association management from the University of Maryland University College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Carolina Central University.

Crowder officially joins the CCBC Board of Trustees on July 1, 2025.
