Campaign spreads the word to raise awareness of veteran suicide

CCBC is proud to participate in the #22PushupChallenge to help raise awareness of veteran suicide. Every day in the U.S., 22 military veterans take their lives. With more than 800 student veterans enrolled at CCBC, building a community of support for veterans and raising awareness for the mental health challenges veterans face is an initiative that the college fully supports.

From Nov. 1 – 22, CCBC students, employees, alums and friends are encouraged to take part in the #22PushupChallenge. Post your videos on the college’s Facebook site to show your support. CCBC will host a culminating event on Nov. 22 to celebrate the end of its campaign.

To kick-off the campaign, James Grace, President of the Essex Chapter of the CCBC Student Veterans Association, makes a challenge.
