Baltimore County, Md. — Parents are invited to come and bring their children to an Open House 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., Saturday, April 30 in the Children’s Learning Center at CCBC Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road. Families will be able to tour the facility and the campus and learn about the curriculum and family involvement activities. There will be refreshments and a free gift (while they last!) for every child attending.
Take advantage of this CLC Open House to:
- Register your preschooler (ages 3-5) for the summer and /or the fall session.
- Register your two-year olds for fall. Currently the CLC does not have any summer openings for 2 year olds.
- Register your school-age child for the summer program for children who have completed K-5.
What makes the Children’s Learning Center at CCBC Dundalk so special?
“We have this beautiful large campus where the children are able to use many of facilities such as the gym, or join in student activities such as the health fair. So while children at many centers have been snowed in this winter, we have been able to walk the children to the gym to enjoy large motor activities.” She notes that the children also have regular story times with CCBC Librarian Sharon Casey. “In warmer weather, our school age children often take journals or drawing materials and work on them outside under a grove of trees,” Shafer comments.
