Just What is a Planet? (Astronomy Department Planetarium Show)
May 7, 10 a.m., Benjamin Banneker Planetarium, Mathematics and Science Hall, CCBC Catonsville
The furor STILL hasn’t died down since Pluto was “demoted” to “minor” planet status in 2006. Learn how Pluto was discovered, what happened in 2006, what we are learning now and why many astronomers think the new classification will stand.

Alumni Fun Fest Picnic (Institutional Advancement)
