BACKGROUND

More students can attend CCBC tuition-free thanks to expanded eligibility requirements for College Promise scholarships. High school graduates with a 2.3 GPA and completing high school between the years 2015-2019 may qualify. 

Household income requirements are $85,000 or less for the Baltimore County College Promise scholarship and $150,000 (two-parent household) and $100,000 (single-parent) or less for the Maryland College Promise scholarship. The scholarship covers degree, certificate and some designated non-credit certificate programs.
