Gayle Johnson AdamsAdams earned her bachelor's degree at Goucher College (Baltimore, Md.) and received a Master of Social Work and a Post-Master Certificate in Administration from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She retired in 2014 as the director of Community and Government Relations from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center after 40 years of service.
Adams has extensive board service experience at area nonprofits, including the Dundalk Renaissance Corporation, Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce, Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, CCBC Foundation-Essex, the Mayor's Commission on Disabilities, to name only a few.
A lifelong Baltimore, Md. resident, Adams and her spouse moved to Essex, Md. a decade ago after living in Hamilton, Md. for many years.
