CCBC is ready to welcome you back! As we move through our phased return to campus, we’re putting into place precautions to help keep the community safe. Some of these measures, like social distancing, will necessarily slow down our ability to serve you, creating longer wait times for in-person student services.

To avoid longer wait times, you can continue to access CCBC student services like Admissions, Advising, Registration and Financial Aid remotely, either by completing tasks online or by connecting to staff through email or other means. The information below will help you connect to the services you need.

The CCBC Testing Centers conduct placement testing for new students and proctor exams for students enrolled in CCBC courses, including those who need to make up an exam, need to take a test for an online course or require testing accommodations.

CCBC partners with Barnes and Noble to provide students with the best course material options and prices.

On-campus stores
CCBC bookstores are gradually easing back into normal hours and operations. Barnes & Noble is reopening following safety, physical distancing and sanitizing protocols. Bookstore staff will clean service areas periodically throughout the day. Learn more »

Online orders
From ccbaltimorecounty.bncollege.com select the textbook tab and put in your campus, term, course, and section. All orders placed during this time will be delivered with free UPS shipping. Delivery of course materials ordered online takes on average 1-2 business days to most locations in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.

Select OneCard as your payment at checkout and enter the 16 digit number located on the back of your OneCard.

What we do for you

Food Service

CCBC main cafés are open with limited menus and “grab and go” options. Hours of operation at the Catonsville and Essex campuses are from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and at the Dundalk campus from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Vending machines throughout campuses are stocked with fresh snacks and drinks.


CCBC’s Library offers a wealth of online resources to support your online course work. Online research guides and style manuals, more than 50,000 eBooks and thousands of journals, access to powerful research databases – it’s all here.

Online Writing Lab

Need help completing a writing assignment? The CCBC Online Writing Lab (OWL) can help. Staffed by English department faculty, OWL provides free writing assistance to students on all phases of writing.

CCBC students who are registered for a class can submit to OWL 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except when the college is closed for winter break, summer break or holidays.

We know that, at some point, every student could use some help getting a handle on a bit of difficult material. That’s why we offer free, course specific, online tutoring through Blackboard.
