Parking at CCBC

CCBC's campuses have plenty of free and accessible parking available to all visitors between the hours of 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. Students and campus visitors never need a parking permit; simply park in any non reserved white lined space.

Still, parking only works as a system if all campus visitors participate in the effort. Please be aware of the following rules and help us continue to provide easy access to all of our facilities.

Parking permits

A parking permit is required for:

  • Red lined spaces — Faculty and staff
  • Blue lined spaces — Accessible
  • Green lined spaces — Service vehicles only
  • Purple lined spaces — Leased parking
  • Fuel efficient/low emission spaces (Green Car designation) — Faculty, staff and student

CCBC's Department of Public Safety will issue parking citations for drivers who park in reserved spaces without the appropriate permit.

Traffic and parking regulations

We recognize that the safety and security of the college community is fundamental to everything we do. For this reason, CCBC has established parking and traffic regulations. Parking regulations are enforced 24/7.

These regulations apply to all who operate vehicles on any part of CCBC’s campuses or extension centers. It is the responsibility of every member of the college community to become familiar with and adhere to these regulations.

Electric vehicle charging stations

CCBC offers electric vehicle charging stations at each of the main campuses:

  • CCBC Catonsville: Parking lots 6 and 8
  • CCBC Dundalk: Parking lot 3
  • CCBC Essex: Parking lot 2

Taking mass transit to CCBC

The Maryland Transportation Authority (MTA) offers several modes of transportation to CCBC campuses. For additional information on these services, please visit the MTA website.

Transportation between campuses

CCBC campus shuttle

CCBC shuttles are a free service for students, faculty and staff. The shuttles only operate during the fall and spring semesters. A valid CCBC OneCard is needed to board our shuttles. Shuttles are wheelchair accessible. All riders will be returned to their originating campus by the end of the shuttle day.
