General Studies PathwayThe General Studies Pathway is designed for students who wish to customize their learning experience.
The General Studies Pathway offers each student the opportunity to explore many interests while pursuing an Associate of Arts degree. The Pathway provides maximum flexibility for transfer – both for students who enter CCBC with significant transfer credits, as well as for students who plan to enroll in a four-year degree program that is not aligned with other CCBC degrees or programs.

General Studies Pathway Programs
General Studies offers maximum flexibility for students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree upon graduation from CCBC or for whom a general studies degree best meets their academic goals or career. This program is especially appealing to students who wish to design their own course of study or who have accumulated a significant number of credits from other programs or colleges. Students acquire well-rounded skills to pursue a variety of academic disciplines and careers.
