AHE 932 Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps you identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.

Health Care Providers

AHE 805 CPR for Health Care Providers

Learn how to perform CPR and other lifesaving skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of hospital settings. Topics include critical concepts of high-quality CPR, 1- and 2-rescuer CPR/AED for adult/child/infant, bag-mask techniques/rescue breathing/relief of choking for adult, child and infant. An American Heart Association course designed for health care professionals.

CPS 004 CPR Renewal for Health Care Providers

Bring your current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR card to class. NOTE: If your CPR card has expired (the last day of the expiration month), you must take the full course, AHE 805 - CPR for Health Care Providers. An American Heart Association course for health care professionals who need to renew their CPR certification.

Infants and Young Children

CPS 001 CPR and First Aid for Infants and Young Children

Designed for childcare providers, this offers instruction in home safety tips and how to perform CPR on infants and young children. Successful students will receive an American Heart Association CPR card. Written and skills evaluation required.

Skills Check Off

AHE 771 Health Care Provider – Skills Check Off

Gain the necessary skills to obtain a new healthcare provider card. Health care providers who have previously taken an American Heart Association online health care provider course may take the skills testing (Part 2) with an AHA instructor to complete the certification process. Prerequisite: Current valid American Heart Association CPR for Health Care Provider card.
