Criminal Justice Studies

Our Criminal Justice Studies department offers degree and certificate options for students who want to enter a highly rewarding career in the criminal justice field.

Students can customize their educational experience and meet their personal goals by offering students a variety of classroom options. Courses are offered on a full or part-time basis, and degree requirements can be fulfilled through evening, weekend and online course offerings.

Our criminal justice courses cover a vast range of special topics including private investigation, social justice, narcotics and dangerous substances, criminal justice technology and more. Job outlook

Our programs will prepare you for careers in law enforcement, private security, corrections, juvenile services and more.

Employment in the criminal justice field is expected to grow about as fast as average (increase nine to 17 percent) for all occupations through 2014 according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook. At the local and state levels, growth is likely to continue well into the future.
