Important announcement

Effective August 1, all CCBC campuses opened to students for services and limited face-to-face instruction with COVID-19 guidelines in place. These guidelines require everyone entering the campus to undergo screening, wear a mask and adhere to appropriate social distancing requirements as defined by the CDC.
 
Continuing Education classes will take place both face-to-face and remotely. If for any reason, the method of instruction for your class changes, the CCBC Call and Information Center will contact you through text, phone or email.

CCBC’s School of Continuing Education is the perfect place to upgrade your job skills, learn a new trade, have fun or explore your personal interests. Whether you’ve come to CCBC for pleasure or for training to get where you want to be professionally, we have something for you!

We have classes to engage you at every stage of life and are constantly developing exciting new courses to inspire you. Come see what you can be!

Workforce training options

Are you ready to start a new career or just upgrade your skills? We can get you job ready in as little as 6-18 months. We have classes in Business, Health and Human Services, Hospitality, Skilled Trades and Transportation. Maybe you are ready to start your own business. We have a class for that!

Employers: We can help you with customized training options for your employees. We can help with needs assessment as well as training.

Lifelong learning

At CCBC Continuing Education, we know how to have fun. Pick your passion. Learn art, cooking, dancing, music and more. We even have classes to help you turn your passion for fitness and wellness into a career.

Maybe it's time to learn a new language or teach others English. We are here to help you grow.

Over 60? Our Senior Adventures In Learning (SAIL) program is designed just for you. Seniors over 60 pay no tuition regardless of the class you take.

We also have youth programs! Our Kids@CCBC classes are always great blending education and fun in an environment designed to learn.

Community education

Our first name is community and we take that commitment seriously. If you need to improve your reading, writing, and math abilities, we can help you update your skills. Or maybe you need to complete your high school diploma, we have face-to-face and online options through our GED program.

We also offer ESOL classes for all levels of learners.

Our Center for Alternative and Supported Education (CASE) program is the only one in Maryland dedicated to helping adults with disabilities get workforce training.
