Opportunity Grants for CCBC Non-Credit Courses

There is limited grant funding for certain non-credit training courses. Find out if you are eligible for one of these $500 awards.

Opportunity grant guidelines

Opportunity grants are $500 need-based awards given to qualified non-credit students. Recipients can use the awards for tuition and fees of selected courses after all other non-loan-based financial aid resources have been exhausted.

Students are eligible for only one grant per fiscal year (i.e., July 1 through June 30) and each grant awarded may only be used once. If a grant is applied against a total course cost of less than $500, the difference is not available for future spending.

To apply for funding, students must complete an application form. To request an application, please contact the continuing education information center at 443.840.4700. Listed below are the continuing education (professional development, life enrichment, job training) certification programs eligible for opportunity grants. This course list is subject to change.
