Wood Fund Scholarship

The Kathy and Jerry Wood Foundation has awarded the Community College of Baltimore County's division of Continuing Education funds for scholarship support in career and occupational training.  

The Kathy and Jerry Wood Foundation Vocational Scholarship will expand educational opportunities to students preparing for middle-skill jobs that require some training beyond high school but typically do not require a four year degree. 

For Fall 2018 students who qualify may apply for this need-based scholarship for the following programs of study:

Scholarships are awarded on a first-come first served basis. Award amounts varies based on the cost of the individual program selected by the applicant. Applicants must have successfully completed all required prerequisites if applicable.

  • Thursday, August 16 | 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. | CCBC Essex,  Bess 216
  • Thursday, August 23 | 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. | CCBC Catonsville,  HTEC 214

All grant-funded career training programs will begin in October, 2018
